Welcome to Paperbark Grove Collective

Hello, I'm Michelle (she/her).
Welcome to Paperbark Grove Collective.
The name Paperbark Grove Collective is inspired by the paperbark tree, known for its many protective layers and its ability to endure, adapt, and regenerate. Like the tree, our lives are shaped by the experiences we carry. Healing isn't about stripping away those layers or becoming the person you were before. It's about understanding your experiences with compassion, making sense of your story, and creating space for growth.
I believe that feeling safe, understood, and connected is an important part of meaningful change. I offer a warm, trauma-informed space where children, teenagers, adults, and fellow practitioners can explore their experiences, express themselves, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves.
I recognise that our experiences are shaped not only by what happens within us, but also by the world around us, including our relationships, culture, identity, communities, and the systems we live within. My practice is guided by a commitment to being inclusive, respectful, and aware of the ways that power, privilege, and inequality can impact people’s lives. I aim to create a space where all parts of your identity are welcomed and where we can work together with curiosity, compassion, and respect.
Whether we're making sense of difficult experiences, building new ways of coping, or using creativity to express what words sometimes cannot, my approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs.
Alongside individual therapy, I provide clinical supervision and creative workshops that support reflection, connection, creativity, and wellbeing.
Wherever you are in your journey, you're welcome here.
